Hands-On Projects and  Enhanced Student Learning 

In classes, we look for engaging and innovative ways to educate the next 'Leaders and Best' in the sport industry. 

We welcome project ideas that provide unique learning opportunities for our sport management students in marketing-related courses. With client-based projects, students have the opportunity to bring theories and course concepts to real life and the partnering organizations benefit from rigorous research and fresh ideas from students.  

We have been working with a number of organizations (e.g., brands, agencies, and sport properties) to provide solutions to challenging marketing tasks such as activating a brand on a global scale, developing a consumer-focused activation recommendation for non-endemic brands (e.g., tech, banking, quick service restaurant categories), developing a marketing campaign to increase sales, creating a social media ambushing strategy for brands, and developing new sponsorship inventories for a multipurpose sport facility, and so on.  Some students even landed a full time position in one of partnering organizations through a client-based project!
